ગલી ગલી રાધા ને ગલી ગલી શ્યામ છે
રાધાજીના આમ જોકે નવાં નવાં નામ છે.
કાશી કહેવાય એ તો
ધર્મનું ધામ છે.
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે.

નાગમતી રંગમતી
નદીઓની સોડમાં
મરવાનું મન થાય એવું મજાનું સ્મશાન છે
ફાંકડા છે પુલ ઝુલ
ટાવરો દુકાન છે
નાગનાથ દાદા તારી ભભૂતિની શાન છે
ઠેર ઠેર ઠાંમ ઠાંમ
દોરને દમામ છે
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે

ભુજીયા કોઠાની કને
લાખોટા તળાવ છે
એક લાલ બંગલો ને
એક ધોરી વાવ છે
પુરાણાં મેડી ને કમાડ
ખખડી ગયા છે તોય
લાગે છે કે જાણે
ગઈ કાલનો બનાવ છે
પડી ગયાં ગેઇટ એને
આખરી સલામ છે

હવાઈ કિલ્લાઓ માટે
ખુલ્લો છે હવાઈ ચોક
જુનાપાનાં ગીત
ગાંધી ચોક માં ગવાય છે
બેડીના નાકાથી આજ
બદલી બજારો કંઈક
ચાંદીની બજારે નિત
ચાંદની છવાય છે
આઝાદી સરકલનું ય
ઇરવિન નામ છે
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે.

કાજલ કંકુ ને
અગરબત્તી વખણાય છે
બારીક બેજોડ એવી
બાંધણી વણાય છે
ખોબલે ભરાઈ બોરસલી ને ગુલાબ રોજ ચમેલીના અત્તર થી
હવા હરખાય છે
એલચી તમાકુ સાથે
પાનમાં કિમામ છે
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે.

અહીં ભાઈ એકે એક
વાતની નવાઈ છે
નગરની નાર વળી
નરથી સવાઈ છે
રૂપનો સવાલ નથી
વેશની ભવાઈ છે
એકવડો દેહ અને
ચોવડી સિલાઈ છે
હોય જેનું કાળજું
કઠણ એનું કામ છે
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે

રંક છે અમીર છે ને
ચોર શાહુકાર છે
કાર છે ઘણાની પાસે
ઘણાયે બેકાર છે
ભાવતાલમાં તો
સૌ એવા હોશિયાર છે
કચરો ને ધૂળનો ય
ધીકતો વેપાર છે
દમ ના હોય એવી
ચીજનાંય ભારે દામ છે
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે

કોરટું કચેરી દવાખાનાને વકીલો વૈદ
રોજની બીમારી ને
રોજનો ઈલાજ છે
ગાંઠની ગરથ ખૂટી જાય
તો  ખારાં બી ખાઈ-
ગુજારો થાય છે
કઈ જાત નો સમાજ છે
માથાના દુખાવા કાજ
બે માથાંના બામ છે
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે

આમ અહીં નિત નવી
ખબરો છપાય છે
કોઈ પુરે કૂવો
કોઈ ટ્રેનમાં કપાય છે
ભલામણ હોય તો
ન થવાનુંય થાય છે
સામ દામ દંડ ભેદ બધા દાવ ગોઠવાય છે
રાસલીલા રાજલીલા
લીલાઓ તમામ છે
નગર અમારું ભારે ગમતીલું ગામ છે

ઉંટીયા ગાડાંની હાર
બસની કતાર છે
ટ્રકમાં લદાઈ જતો
જિંદગીનો ભાર છે
પેટ માટે રિક્ષાની
દોડ લગાતાર છે
ચાર એની આંગળી માં
જલતા મિનાર છે
ચોવીસે કલાક ચાલુ
યુદ્ધ અવિરામ છે

Settle Down

Settle Down?!?

The whole concept of 'settling down' is misleading. We think we will settle down after finishing our studies (seriously?) maybe after marriage (nope), then we think we might settle down after being successful (doesn't happen), certainly after having kids(do we?), ok after the kids grow up, (absolutely not).
Life is not meant to settle down, life is meant to struggle, to explore, to wander. to love, to lose, to learn, to unlearn, to fail, to rebel, to live.

Even our ashes don‘t settle, they fly away in all directions."

Dhabo KA NABH

ढाबों का NABH

किसी शहर में एक बहुत बड़ा 5 सितारा होटल था,नाम था होटल शिल्टन।उसी शहर में बहुत से छोटे -छोटे ढाबे भी थे। ढाबों पर ac नही होता था,फर्नीचर भी सामान्य सा होता  था ।वेटर लोग भी अडोस पड़ोस के गांवों के लड़के होते थे।न उनका कोई ड्रेस -कोड था न उन्हें  यस मैम, यस सर कहने का सलीका था। पर दो बातें थी जिनकी वजह से शहर के ढाबे उस 5स्टार होटल से ज्यादा चलते थे।एक तो उनका खाना बहुत स्वादिष्ट होता था क्योंकि अधिकांश  मालिक खुद कुक करते थे और रॉ मटेरियल ताज़ा होता था,दूसरा वो 5 सितारा होटल से करीब 10 गुना सस्ते भी  थे।
तभी सरकार ने गरीबों के लिए  एक मुफ्त भोजन योजना लांच की।योजना कुछ यों थी कि गरीब आदमी किसी भी ढाबे या होटल में जाए ,जो जी मे आये पेट भर खाये और मुस्कुराते हुए बाहर आ जाए। खाने का बिल सरकार भरेगी ।राज्य के 5 सितारा होटल मालिकों की लॉबी बड़ी स्ट्रांग थी।उन्होंने ढाबों को इस योजना से बाहर रखने के लिए सरकार को कुछ सख्त मानक तय करने के लिए राजी कर लिया।तय किया गया कि ढाबों को  सरकारी मान्यता तभी मिलेगी जब कोई ढाबा या होटल उन सभी मानकों को पूरा करे  और एक गैर सरकारी संस्था से क्वालिटी का सर्टिफिकेट ले जिसका नाम था  NABH(नेशनल अक्रेडिटेशन बोर्ड फ़ॉर होटल्स एंड फ़ूड प्रोवाइडर्स)।NABH के  मानक कुछ इस तरह बनाये गए कि प्रयास था कि अधिकांश ढाबे उन मानकों पर खरे न उतर पाएं जिस से ढाबों का सारा बिज़नेस 5 सितारा होटल्स को मिलने लगे।
शुरू में कुछ ढाबे वालों ने इन मानकों का विरोध भी किया लेकिन कुछ दूसरे नई सोच वाले  ढाबे  थे जो nabh  की प्रक्रिया में लग गए।देखा देखी सभी ढाबे वालों को भी ऐसा करना पड़ा।nabh के मानक ऎसे थे कि कम पढ़े लिखे ढाबे वाले उन्हें समझ नही पा रहे थे कि इन्हें कैसे पूरा करें।सम्पूर्ण  राज्य  के ढाबे वाले परेशान थे तो उनकी परेशानी में कुछ स्मार्ट एजेंसीज को बिज़नेस नज़र आया ।उन्होंने ढाबे वालों को कहा आप हमें  2-2लाख रुपये दो हम आपको nabh accreditation दिलवाएंगे।अधिकांश ढाबे वाले मान गए,मरते क्या न करते।
अब एजेंसीज का खेल शुरू हुआ।
उन्होंने ढाबे वालों को बताया "देखो, आपको भोजन बिल्कुल वैसे ही बनाना है जैसे पहले बना रहे थे,उसमे कुछ नही बदलना पर सब कुछ दिखना अच्छा चाहिए।"
सभी वेटर्स के लिए ड्रेस कोड बनाया गया।अंग्रेज़ी न बोल पाने वाले वेटर्स को निकाल कर नई भर्ती हुई।इंग्लिश बोल सकने वाले नए महंगे वेटर्स लाये गए।ढाबों का सारा फर्नीचर हटा कर महंगा नया फर्नीचर लगवाया गया।कच्चे फर्श की जगह महंगी टाइल्स लगवा दी गई।पंखे हटा कर ac लगवा दिए गए।वाशबेसिन,टॉयलेट फिटिंग ,इलेक्ट्रिक फिटिंग चेंज की गई,false सीलिंग से पुरानी छतों को छुपा  दिया गया,नया रंग रोगन हुआ।नए स्टाइलिश मेनू कार्ड छपवाए गए। ढाबों के बाहर सुंदर सुंदर glowsign बोर्ड लगवाए गए।दरवाज़े खिड़कियां सब बदलवा दिए गए।खाने की क्वालिटी पहले भी ठीक ही थी उसमें कोई खास बदलाव नही किया गया बस आटा ,तेल मसाले जंहा से आ रहे थे उन सभी दुकानों से एग्रीमेंट किया गयाऔर हर रॉ मटेरियल का हिसाब किताब प्रॉपर रखने को कहा गया।
इस सारी कवायत का नतीजा ये हुआ कि हर ढाबे वाले के 15-20लाख रूपय खर्च हो गए।मासिक खर्चे  भी अब पहले के मुकाबले  3 गुना हो गए पर ढाबे वाले बहुत खुश थे कि nabh अब मिल ही जायेगा और फिर  धंधा अच्छा चलेगा।
लेकिन इसका एक नुकसान ये हुआ कि ढाबों की रनिंग कॉस्ट बढ़ने के कारण उन्हें अपने चार्जेज 2से 3 गुना बढ़ाने पड़े।लिहाज़ा वो कैश वाले कस्टमर्स जो ढाबों के कम रेट्स की वजह से वहां आते थे वो आना बंद हो गए।
ढाबे वालों ने ये सोच कर दिल को तसल्ली दी कि nabh मिलने के बाद कैशलेस कस्टमर्स इतने अधिक आएंगे  कि इस नुकसान की भरपाई हो जाएगी।कुछ दिनों में एजेंसी की मदद से सभी ढाबों को nabh मिल गया।सप्ताह बीत गया, फिर महीना भी गुजर गया पर कैशलेस योजना वाले कस्टमर्  दूर दूर तक नज़र नही आये।ढाबे वालों ने मीटिंग की।फैसला हुआ कि कैशलेस कस्टमर्स  को बुला कर उन्ही से पूछा जाए कि अब तो हम ढाबे वाले  भी सरकार की  कैशलेस योजना से सम्बद्ध nabh approved ढाबे है आप हमारे यंहा भोजन करने क्यों नही नही आते।
कैशलेस कस्टमर्स आये और उनका कहना था कि हमे तो भोजन दोनों जगह  मुफ्त ही मिलना है फिर क्यों न 5 सितारा होटल के खाने का मज़ा लूटा जाए।
तुम ढाबे वाले रंग पेंट करवा कर 5सितारा थोड़े ही बन गए।तुम्हारी हालत तो कुछ इस तरह की की है कि" कौवा चला हंस की चाल ,खुद की चाल भी भूल गया।"

Screen time and toddlers

Toddlers should spend no more than 60 minutes passively watching a screen every day, while babies under 12 months should have none, to ensure that they grow up fit and well, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday, as part of a campaign to tackle the global obesity crisis. The guidelines refer to passive activities such as watching cartoons, for example, as opposed to going online to talk to a grandparent.

In addition to screen time recommendations for very young children the UN health agency says that they should be physically active several times a day and get lots of sleep.

Children aged *one to four years old should be active for at least 180 minutes throughout the day,* WHO says, citing walking, crawling, running, jumping, balancing, climbing, dancing, riding wheeled toys, cycling and jumping rope as suitable pastimes. For *three to four-year-olds, moreover, 60 minutes of this activity* should be of “moderate-to-vigorous intensity”… (WHO, April 24, 2019).

Honesty

The Nobel Laureate Prof. C. V. Raman after retirement wished to open a Research Institute in Bangalore.
So he gave advertisement in the news papers for recruiting Scientists interested in Research  for three posts.

Lots of eager Scientists applied thinking that even if they were not selected, they would at least get an opportunity to meet the Nobel Laureate.

In the preliminary selection, five candidates were selected and the final interview was to be taken by Prof. C V Raman himself.

Three were selected out of the five.

Next day Prof. Raman was taking a walk and found one young man waiting to meet him.
He realized that it was the same man who was not selected.
  The Prof. asked him what was the problem and he replied that there was no problem at all, but after finishing the interview the office had paid him ₹7 extra than his claim and he wanted to return it.
But because the accounts had closed, they could not take back the amount and asked him to enjoy.
The man said that it is not right for him to accept the money which did not belong to him.
Prof. C V Raman told him so you wish to return that ₹7 and he took the money from him.

After going few  steps forward the Prof. asked the young man to meet him the next day at 10.30 am. The man was happy that he would get an opportunity to meet the great man again.

When he met the Prof.  next day the *Nobel Laureate told the young man "son, you failed in the Physics test but you have passed the honesty test.*
So I have created another post for you".
The young man was surprised and very happy to join.

*Later on he too became a Nobel Laureate in 1983. This young man was Prof. Subrahmanyan Chandrashekhar*(US Citizen of Indian Origin)

He has written a book on how the seven rupees changed his life.

This was how honesty made a great scientist and today we are proud of his achievements.

Live life naturally

खुद को बढ़ती उम्र के साथ स्वीकारना तनावमुक्त जीवन देता है।
हर उम्र एक अलग तरह की खूबसूरती लेकर आती है, उसका आनंद लीजिये।

बाल रंगने हैं तो रंगिये,
वज़न कम रखना है तो रखिये,
मनचाहे कपड़े पहनने हैं, तो पहनिये।
बच्चों की तरह खिलखिलाइये,
अच्छा सोचिये,
अच्छा माहौल रखिये,
शीशे में दिखते हुए अपने अस्तित्व को स्वीकारिये।

कोई भी क्रीम आपको गोरा नहीं बनाती,
कोई शैम्पू बाल झड़ने से नहीं रोकता,
कोई तेल बाल नहीं उगाता,
कोई साबुन आपको बच्चों जैसी स्किन नहीं देता।
चाहे वो प्रॉक्टर गेम्बल हो या पतंजलि .....सब सामान बेचने के लिए झूठ बोलते हैं।

ये सब कुदरती होता है।
उम्र बढ़ने पर त्वचा से लेकर बालों तक में बदलाव आता है।
पुरानी मशीन को maintain करके बढ़िया चला तो सकते हैं, पर उसे नई नहीं कर सकते।

ना किसी टूथपेस्ट में नमक होता है ना किसी में नीम।
किसी क्रीम में केसर नहीं होती, क्योंकि 2 ग्राम केसर भी 500 रुपए से कम की नहीं होती !

कोई बात नहीं अगर आपकी नाक मोटी है तो,
कोई बात नही आपकी आंखें छोटी हैं तो,
कोई बात नहीं अगर आप गोरे नही हैं
या आपके होंठों की shape perfect नहीं हैं....

फिर भी हम सुंदर हैं,
अपनी सुंदरता को पहचानिये

दूसरों से कमेंट या वाहवाही लूटने के लिए सुंदर दिखने से ज्यादा ज़रूरी है, अपनी सुंदरता को महसूस करना।

हर बच्चा सुंदर इसलिये दिखता है क्योंकि वो छल कपट से परे मासूम होता है और बडे़ होने पर जब हम छल व कपट से जीवन जीने लगते है तो वो मासूमियत खो देते हैं,
..फिर उस सुंदरता को पैसे खर्च करके खरीदने का प्रयास करते हैं।

मन की खूबसूरती पर ध्यान दो।

पेट निकल गया तो कोई बात नहीं उसके लिए शर्माना ज़रूरी नहीं ।
आपका शरीर आपकी उम्र के साथ बदलता है तो वज़न भी उसी हिसाब से घटता-बढ़ता है, उसे समझिये।

सारा इंटरनेट और सोशल मीडिया तरह-तरह के उपदेशों से भरा रहता है,
ये खाओ, वो मत खाओ
ठंडा खाओ , गर्म पीयो,
कपाल भाती करो, 
सवेरे नीम्बू पीयो ,
रात को दूध पीयो,
ज़ोर से सांस लो, लंबी सांस लो
दाहिने से सोइये ,
बायें से उठिये,
हरी सब्जी खाओ,
दाल में प्रोटीन है,
दाल से क्रिएटिनिन बढ़ जाएगा।

अगर पूरे एक दिन सारे उपदेशों को पढ़ने लगें तो पता चलेगा
ये ज़िन्दगी बेकार है, ना कुछ खाने को बचेगा ना कुछ जीने को !!
आप डिप्रेस्ड हो जाएंगे।

ये सारा ऑर्गेनिक ,एलोवेरा, करेला, मेथी ,पतंजलि में फंसकर दिमाग का दही हो जाता है।
स्वस्थ होना तो दूर, स्ट्रेस हो जाता है।

अरे! अपन मरने के लिये जन्म लेते हैं,
कभी ना कभी तो मरना है ही, अभी तक बाज़ार में अमृत बिकना शुरू नहीं हुआ।

बस, हर चीज़ सही मात्रा में खाइये,
हर वो चीज़ थोड़ी-थोड़ी जो आपको अच्छी लगती है।

भोजन का सम्बंध मन से होता है,
और मन अच्छे भोजन से ही खुश रहता है।
मन को मारकर खुश नहीं रहा जा सकता।
थोड़ा बहुत शारीरिक कार्य करते रहिये,
टहलने जाइये,
लाइट कसरत करिये 
व्यस्त रहिये, 
खुश रहिये ,
शरीर से ज्यादा मन को सुंदर रखिये।

Admin तड़प तड़प के मरने ही वाला था कि

उसे याद आया बिजली तो 2 दिन से बंद है.


वापस उठकर, हँसते हुए बोला,

If I were not present

*"मैं न होता तो क्या होता”*

अशोक वाटिका में जिस समय रावण क्रोध में भरकर तलवार लेकर सीता माँ को मारने के लिए दौड़ पड़ा, तब हनुमान जी को लगा कि इसकी तलवार छीन कर इसका सिर काट लेना चाहिये, किन्तु अगले ही क्षण उन्हों ने देखा मंदोदरी ने रावण का हाथ पकड़ लिया, यह देखकर वे गदगद हो गये। वे सोचने लगे। यदि मैं आगे बड़ता तो मुझे भ्रम हो जाता कि यदि मै न होता तो सीता जी को कौन बचाता???

बहुधा हमको ऐसा ही भ्रम हो जाता है,  मै न होता तो क्या होता ? परन्तु ये क्या हुआ सीताजी को बचाने का कार्य प्रभु ने रावण की पत्नी को ही सौंप दिया। तब हनुमान जी समझ गये कि प्रभु जिससे जो कार्य लेना चाहते हैं, वह उसी से लेते हैं।

आगे चलकर जब त्रिजटा ने कहा कि लंका में बंदर आया हुआ है और वह लंका जलायेगा तो हनुमान जी बड़ी चिंता मे पड़ गये कि प्रभु ने तो लंका जलाने के लिए कहा ही नही है और त्रिजटा कह रही है की उन्होंने स्वप्न में देखा है, एक वानर ने लंका जलाई है। अब उन्हें क्या करना चाहिए? जो प्रभु इच्छा।

जब रावण के सैनिक तलवार लेकर हनुमान जी को मारने के लिये दौड़े तो हनुमान ने अपने को बचाने के लिए तनिक भी चेष्टा नहीं की, और जब विभीषण ने आकर कहा कि दूत को मारना अनीति है, तो हनुमान जी समझ गये कि मुझे बचाने के लिये प्रभु ने यह उपाय कर दिया है।

आश्चर्य की पराकाष्ठा तो तब हुई, जब रावण ने कहा कि बंदर को मारा नही जायेगा पर पूंछ मे कपड़ा लपेट कर घी डालकर आग लगाई जाये तो हनुमान जी सोचने लगे कि लंका वाली त्रिजटा की बात सच थी, वरना लंका को जलाने के लिए मै कहां से घी, तेल, कपड़ा लाता और कहां आग ढूंढता, पर वह प्रबन्ध भी आपने रावण से करा दिया, जब आप रावण से भी अपना काम करा लेते हैं तो मुझसे करा लेने में आश्चर्य की क्या बात है !

इसलिये हमेशा याद रखें कि संसार में जो कुछ भी हो रहा है वह सब ईश्वरीय विधान है, हम और आप तो केवल निमित्त मात्र हैं, इसीलिये कभी भी ये भ्रम न पालें कि...

Humanity at its best

It was getting dark.  Someone was calling from behind the locked iron gate.  Wondering who it could be I came out. 

An elderly person was standing behind the gate. The clothes wrinkled and with a small bag in his hand he appeared to have travelled some distance coming here.  Looking into a small piece of paper in his hands he enquired, “Isn’t this Anand, Number 8, Yogananda Street, my son?”

“Yes, I am Anand and this is the address.  And you…”, I mumbled looking at this old man. 

Slightly shivering and moistening his dry lips with the tongue he replied, handing over the letter, “Babu, I am your father’s friend.  I am coming from your village. Your father gave me this letter and advised that I seek help from you”.

Taking that letter from him, exclaiming “father?”, I eagerly read that letter. “Dear Anand, blessings to you.  The person carrying this letter is my friend. His name is Ramayya.  Works hard. A few days ago, his only son died in an accident. He is running around seeking compensation.  That would help him and his wife to pull along with the other meagre income.  I am sending the police reports after the accident, the compensation affidavits given by the Travel Agents and other relevant papers. He was told that the final payment may be collected in the Head Office.  This is his first visit to Hyderabad and he is a stranger.  I am hoping that you would be able to help him.  Take care of your health.  Visit us at your earliest convenience.  Your loving father”.

Ramayyagaru was standing watching me.  I thought for a moment and invited him inside.  Giving him some water to drink, I enquired, “Did you have anything to eat?”. 

He replied, “No, my son.  As the journey got delayed, I ate the two fruits that I brought with me.”

Going inside I prepared four dosas and served them with pickles.  Saying, “You please eat”, I went out and made a couple of calls and returned.

When I returned, I found that he had finished the tiffin and was sitting with a few papers in his hand.  There was a photo of his deceased son.  The boy was handsome and young.  May be 22 years.  My eyes moistened.

“He is my only son.  Those who were born before him died due to various other causes. He was the only one we had.  Mahesh was his name. He studied well and got a job.  Assuring us that he will take care of us and we would get over all hardships he took up the job.  On the fateful day he was involved in a road accident while crossing the road. Died on the spot. Not wishing to take compensation in the name of the deceased son we were initially reluctant.  But day by day, I am becoming weak and my wife too is not doing well.  With your father’s insistence I came here. Saying my son will help, he sent me with this letter”, he concluded.

“Fine. It’s late now. Take rest”.  Saying this I too slept.

Next morning, we got ready, had coffee at home and started. Finishing breakfast on the way, we reached the Office address mentioned in the documents.

“Anand, I will take care of the rest.  You attend to your office work” said Ramayyagaru.

“No issue.  I have taken leave for today”, I replied. Being with him I got the compensation paid to him. “Thank you, dear son.  My wife is alone at home and I will go back home”, said the old man. 

“Come, I will drop you at the bus-stand and see you off.”  I took him to the bus-stand, got him a ticket, bought a few fruits to eat on the way.

He said with joy in his eyes, he said, “Anandbabu, taking leave for my sake you helped me a lot.  Soon after going home I will narrate everything to your father and thank him too.”

Smiling and holding his hands I explained, “I am not your friend’s son Anand. I am Aravind.You came to the wrong address.That Anand’s house is another 2 km away.  You were already tired and I didn’t have the heart to tell you the truth.  I called the number in your letter and enquired.  His wife said that Anand had gone out of town on some work.  I called your friend and told him too.  He felt very sad.  Once I assured him that I will take care he felt good.  The loss you have suffered is irreparable. But I felt that I should help you. That I did it gives me greatest pleasure.”

As the bus moved, holding my hands Ramayya left with tears of gratitude in his eyes.  “God bless you, my child”, were his parting words. 

That is enough for me, I thought.  My father passed away fifteen years earlier. Now looking at Ramayyagaru I felt my father has returned.

Looking up at the sky I thought my father must be somewhere there. “Dad, did you come in this form to check my progress in life!  Sending me a letter, were you testing me whether I would help or not?  Born to a great father like you, as a son I have performed by duty.  Are you happy?”  Tears of joy flooded my eyes.

Feelings may be true, but they aren’t the truth.

Types of patients

😷👩‍⚕👨‍⚕🏥🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️There are three types of doctors: those who expect patients to accept what they say without questions; those who give choices to patients; and those who take time and help the patients in taking a decision. This is the discord and the number one cause of miscommunication and disputes. While the types of patients have changed very rapidly from ignorant to enlightened, doctors are still in the first phase, where they feel that they don’t need to spend time with the patient.

The first principle required for a better doctor-patient relationship is to understand that I need to spend time with the patient, explain, reason out and review.

‘ALERT’ is a concept that every doctor and patient must remember.

Acknowledge: When the patient enters your office, greet him/her by name and introduce yourself or your staff who would be involved in patient care.
Listen to your patient.
Explain to the patient about the disease.
Review the information given with the patient to make sure that they have been understood correctly.
Thank you: This is most important. Doctors must thank their patients for giving an opportunity to serve.

*બચત* -  કંઈ નહીં..
*પૈસાની જરૂરિયાત માટે*- પતિ કે દિકરાની પાસે માંગવાના અને એ પણ વિગતવાર જરૂરિયાત શી છે એ સમજાવવું જરૂરી. પછી પણ એ લોકોનો મૂડ હોય તો મળે અને સાથે બહુ બધી શિખામણો સાથે કે તારે શી જરૂર છે વગેરે વગેરે.
*પોતાની મુશ્કેલીઓ* - કહેવાની  મનાઈ. કહો  તો કોઈ સાંભળે નહીં કે પછી સાંભળીને ભૂલી જાય.
*ઘર કુટુંબમાં કદર* - કંઈ નહીં.. એમાં શું ? એ તો એણે કરવાનું જ હોયને એવી બધાની માન્યતા અને કૉમેન્ટ્સ.💐

*અને છતાં કાયમ ફરજીયાત હસતા તો રહેવાનું જ કારણ  ઘર અને કુટુંબનું સારૂ દેખાડવા અને લોકો અભિમાની ન ગણે તે માટે !!*🌹

FITT- Exersize

FITT stands for Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type of Exercise.
FITT Principle: One Single Formula To Monitor Your Workout Routine And Ensure Its Effectiveness.

The FITT principle can apply to any type of resistance training including aerobic strength, speed or overall strength. The FITT principle is primarily suited for beginners as it talks about exactly what is needed to get started. Following the FITT principle is considered to be a great method of monitoring your exercise program.

FREQUENCY refers to how often you exercise,
INTENSITY refers to how intense you make your workout regime,
TIME refers to the duration of your workout, and
TYPE OF EXERCISE is the variety of workouts you include in your regime.

_Benefits of following the FITT principle_

Following the FITT principle can ensure your training is reasonably effective.
The ideal recommendation is to exercise for around five to six times in a week, of moderate to high intensity, for anywhere between 15 to 40 minutes and involve different kinds of workouts in your routine.

Frequency
The number of times (frequency) you exercise will depend on your fitness level, how much time you have to spare for exercising and the goals you have set for yourself. If you are looking for quick weight loss, more number of workouts are required. If you want to improve your fitness levels, a slow and gradual progress is recommended, and so on.

Intensity
Intensity is the most important aspect of exercising, along with performing exercise with the right technique. Intensity is also the most difficult factor to monitor, especially for beginners. The first few days when you still have to work on building your STAMINA, go through muscle cramps and endless tiredness, maintaining the intensity of exercising is most challenging to achieve.

Intensity can only be maintained by taking it slow and steady, and adapting yourself to the workouts.

Time
No matter how difficult it is, you have to take out the time for exercising. And the notion that only long duration workouts are effective for weight loss or fat loss, isn't true. You can blend long duration medium intensity workout and short duration high intensity workouts. Just make sure that you are performing exercise with the right technique, especially when you are doing short duration workout.
As mentioned above, anywhere between 15 minutes to one hour of exercise is important on a regular basis.
_For a healthy heart, high blood pressure, normal cholesterol levels and overall health, 90 minutes of high intensity exercise and 150 minutes of medium intensity exercise in a week is important._

Type
The kind of exercise that you do is also going to impact the results you get. The kind of exercise that you do will depend on your purpose as well. If you want to work on your cardiorespiratory fitness, exercise like jogging, running, brisk walking, cycling, zumba, aerobics and stair climbing can help. For improving your muscle strength, you need to do weight lifting, exercise with machine weights and body weight exercises like chin-ups, dips, pull-ups, push-ups, planks, etc.
