Mobile consultations. Pros and cons

Dear Parents,
     Mobile/Telephone Consultations  in Pediatric Practice have a restricted use. These are useful to clarify any doubts, clarifications, confusions if they are there after the medical consultation, laboratory reports and a few follow ups ,after initial check up. These can hardly replace the child's visit to the clinic. Do not unnecessarily bother and disturb your Pediatrician by your information from the internet or any issue concerning the child's illness.
     Follow the instructions carefully, get all the information before you leave the doctor's clinic and phone only when absolutely necessary with the previous prescription being handy with you. Your unnecessary phone calls disturbs the doctor and his/her staff and diverts the attention from other sick children who are in the hospital premises, wasting the valuable time without any concrete benefit to you. If you have  true concerns about the child , go to the clinic/hospital rather than seeking a shortcut via your fingertips!!
