*------DOCTOR DOCTOR EVERYWHERE----*
I felt pity for the differently abled KBC contestant seen in the episode on 22 August. But I also felt bad at the mentality of the organizers who think that the only way to lift up the sagging TRP of the program is to spread hatred about the Doctors among the masses .
Unfortunately in the last 13 years (since 2006) , one thing that really sells in our country is hatred against Doctors.

The girl wholly and squarely blames the Doctors for all the problems she is facing.
She says that,
"Some surgical instrument was used wrongly"
"The Doctors performing the Caesarean thought that she was dead and hence they threw her into the dustbin".
"Some other person picked her up, found that the girl was crying and revived her, but it was too late".
Surely all the venom in her mind against Doctors has been put by her parents.

I don't know how many of my friends have seen Caesarean being performed, whether in real life or on YouTube videos (They can see the video on the YouTube even now), but I can assure you that we don't use any barbaric instruments from the prehistoric times which can cause that kind of damages from which the girl was suffering.
Similarly no Doctor will ever throw a child into the dustbin irrespective of the  condition in which the child is born. Even when we do a Caesarean Section with a preoperative diagnosis of dead baby , we don't throw the baby into the dustbin. Our first reaction is to see if our pre-operative  diagnosis was really correct .
*The child is respectfully handed over to the Paediatrician who finally decides if the child is alive or not.*

It seems a concerted effort has been made by the parents of the girl to put a thought in her mind that everything that went wrong with her was because of some जल्लाद  Doctors who didn't know their job.

On the face of it , it seems to be a case of "asphyxial (lack of oxygen) brain damage" which might have been caused because the parents did not give consent for a timely Caesarean Section. It could have been avoided if timely Caesarean Section was performed.

We don't have anything against the parents because they must have had preconceived notions that Doctors do unnecessary Caesarean . But surely proper counseling of parents must have been done ( before and after the operation) and there was no need to poison the girl's mind.

*And the  KBC producers also seem to harbour a lot of contempt against the Doctors . They did not do any research on the subject before airing the episode*

KBC claims to be a program with a social message , and they feel that in addition to rewarding people for their knowledge , they pick and choose people ( to come to the Hot seat) who can be helped financially for the betterment of their lives . But they should not try to achieve this aim at the cost of a particular group or community.
--------just for trp every channel is using this strategy and tarnishing the image of doctors ...Even after delivery of dead or IUFD baby .. doctors handover the baby to parents with proper receiving documents. No one throws baby in dustbin
Already Doctors are  facing the flak, mostly for no fault of theirs .
Please don't make it worse.

2) She, a renowned artist
     and a strict mother,
     often scolded her 6-
     year-old son for he
     could never draw a
     line straight. As he
     breathed slowly into   
     the ventilator, she
     begged him to make
     one more crooked line
     on the ECG.

3) "Everyone goes with
      the flow… but the one 
     who goes against it
     becomes someone
     remarkable.” Before I
     could explain this to
     the traffic police, the
     man issued me a fine.

4) Their love was
     different. She was
     happy every time he
     kicked her in the
     stomach. Every time
     he kicked she loved
     him more. She waited
     for the time she would
     hold her baby for the
     first time.

5) All my toys are yours..!
     Read her brother’s   
     death note.

6) They took his father,
     and only returned a
     flag.

7) At 25, I became a
     mother of one; at 27 I
