ફેમીલી સાથે સમય વિતાવતા શીખવાડ્યું.

બહાર નું નહિ  ખાવાં નુ  શીખવાડ્યું.

વધારે કઠોળ ખાતા શીખવાડ્યું.

પોતાની ફરમાઈશ વગર નું ગરમ અને ટાઇમસર જમતાં  શીખવાડ્યું.

●  
બાળકો ને બહાર નું જંકફુડ  નહીં  ખાવાં નુ શીખવાડ્યું.

●   
મૃત્યુ પાછળ બેસણા ન કરવાનું શીખવાડ્યું.

મૃત્યુ પાછળ ગુરુ- પારાયણ નહીં કરવાનું શીખવાડ્યું.

આટલું જીવન માં દરરોજ કરીએ તો એક સુખી થવાનો અવસર છે.

          Covid-19 શાપ નથી  એક બોધ પાઠ છે.

Dashara /Navratri

Navratri is a process of detoxifying the body, mind and soul; fasting is an integral part of the detoxification and purification process or the “spiritual yagna”.

Fasting does not simply mean “not eating” or missing a meal, it denotes controlling one’s desires. Non-fulfillment of desires is at the root cause of anger and unrest. Navratri is a time to let go of all desires.

The first three days of Navratri are devoted to pursuing activities that stimulate and create Rajsik thoughts in the mind and reduce the negativity in the mind and the body. The next three days are allocated to practicing positive behavior and activities (by practicing Yoga Sadhna as described in nine forms of Durga and in the last three days, one is supposed to read and learn about spiritual positive things in life.

These three phases of purification denote Goddesses Kali, Lakshmi and Saraswati, respectively and their worship.

The nine days of Navratri require a person to lead a satwik spiritual life, which means that one should eat only Satwik food (that which is offered to God) and follow the principles of Satwik lifestyle (Satwik Ahaar, Satwik Vichar, Satwik Vyavahaar and Satwik Achaar).

The first benefits of this purification process can be observed on the 10th day i.e. Dusshera or Vijaydashmi, when Ravana (Ego) Kumbhakaran (Tamas) and Meghnad (Rajas) are conquered. Victory over ego indicates that satwa (Vibhishan) takes over and the mind (Lakshamana), body (Sita) and soul (Rama) are one. This indicates an ego-free mind leading to inner happiness.

However, this process of purification or the spiritual yagna does not end on the day of Dusshera, it continues till Diwali. It starts from the first day of Navratri on Amavasya and ends on Diwali, again on Amavasya.

On this day of Dusshera, let us aim to kill our inner Ravana, Kumbhakaran and Meghnad and emerge victorious with a positive mind and be one with our true self or consciousness.

An old strong lady

A lady who was over 90 years old, had a great flair towards dressing up well, applying makeup and arranging her hair in beautiful patterns.

She and her husband had been married to each other for 70 years.

After the departure of her beloved partner, having no children and no one in the family to care for her,
She decided to move to a nursing home.

Even on the day when she vacated her home for good, she dressed up elegantly and looked gorgeous.

After arriving at the nursing home, she had to wait patiently in the lobby for hours before room was ready.

When an attendant helped her make her way to the room, she gave the lady a visual description of the tiny space that she was meant to occupy.

"I love it” The lady expressed with the enthusiasm of an eight year old who had just been presented with a new puppy.

"Mrs Jones, you haven't even seen the room yet... Just wait. " The attendant remarked.

"Well, My joy has nothing to do with the room, " The lady replied.

"Whether I like my room or not, doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged, it depends on how I arrange my mind, happiness is something you can decide ahead of time. And I have already decided to love my room, to love the people around me, to love my life. It is a decision that I make every morning when I wake up. You know what, the greatest asset we all have is the power to choose how we feel. "

The lady continued speaking, as the attendant listened attentively with her mouth wide open.

"I can spend my entire day in bed thinking of the pain I am in, focusing on the parts of my body that no longer work or I can get out of bed and be thankful for those parts that do work. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes can still open, I will continue to focus on today and all the happy memories I have stored in my mind, just for this time in my life."

The attendant was astounded by the positive attitude of the elderly lady, whose life from an external point of view, was only full of problems and hopelessness.

Actually,

Only problems happen automatically,
Happiness is a choice we all have to make.

"Hatred" happens automatically "love" is a choice we all have to make.

Being negative happens automatically
Positive attitude is a choice we all have to make.

" Complaining " is automatic
" Gratitude" is a choice we all have to make.

Let’s choose right and live well.

At the age of 40 and 50

*APPROACHING 40s & 50s*

A friend of mine crossed 40 and is heading to 45.
I asked her what's changing?
She sent me following lines:

Yes, I am changing.
*After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children, my friends, now I have started loving myself.*

Yes, I am changing.
*I just realised that I am not “Atlas”. The world does not rest on my shoulders.*

Yes, I am changing.
*I now stopped bargaining with vegetables & fruits vendors. After all, a few Rupees more is not going to burn a hole in my pocket but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s school fees.*

Yes, I am changing.
*I pay the taxi driver without waiting for the change. The extra money might bring a smile on his face. After all he is toiling much harder for a living than me*

Yes, I am changing.
*I stopped telling the elderly that they've already narrated that story many times. After all, the story makes them walk down the memory lane & relive the past.*

Yes, I am changing.
*I've learnt not to correct people even when I know they are wrong. After all, the onus of making everyone perfect is not on me. Peace is more precious than perfection.*

Yes, I am changing. 
*I give compliments freely & generously. After all it's a mood enhancer not only for the recipient, but also for me*.

Yes, I am changing.
*I've learnt not to bother about a crease or a spot on my shirt. After all, personality speaks louder than appearances*.

Yes, I am changing.
*I walk away from people who don't value me. After all, they might not know my worth, but I do*.

Yes, I am changing.
*I remain cool when someone plays dirty politics to outrun me in the rat race. After all, I am not a rat & neither am I in any race*.

Yes, I am changing.
*I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. After all, it's my emotions that make me human.*

Yes, I am changing.
*I have learnt that its better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. After all, my ego will keep me aloof whereas with relationships I will never be alone*.

Yes, I am changing.
*I've learnt to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last* .

*I am doing what makes me happy. After all, I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to me.*

Think positive

I feel like reading this again and again & again.. hope u 👌👉

A famous writer was in his study room. He picked up his pen and started writing :

**Last year, I had a surgery and my gall bladder was removed. I had to stay stuck to the bed due to this surgery for a long time.

**The same year I reached the age of 60 years and had to give up my favourite job. I had spent 30 years of my life in this publishing company.

**The same year I experienced the sorrow of the death of my father.

**And in the same year my son failed in his medical exam because he had a car accident. He had to stay in bed at hospital with the cast on for several days. The destruction of car was another loss.

At the end he wrote: Oh God! It was such bad year !!

When the writer's wife entered the room, she found her husband looking sad & lost in his thoughts. From behind his back she read what was written on the paper. She left the room silently and came back with another paper and placed it on side of her husband's writing.

When the writer saw this paper, he found his name written on it with following lines :

**Last year I finally got rid of my gall bladder due to which I had spent years in pain....

**I turned 60 with sound health and got retired from my job. Now I can utilize my time to write something better with more focus and peace.....

**The same year my father, at the age of 95, without depending on anyone or without any critical condition met his Creator.....

**The same year, God blessed my son with a new life. My car was destroyed but my son stayed alive without getting any disability......

At the end she wrote:

This year was an immense blessing of God and it passed well !!!

The writer was indeed happy and amazed at such beautiful and encouraging interpretation of the happenings in his life in that year !!!

Moral : In daily lives we must see that its not happiness that makes us grateful but grate-fulness that makes us happy.
